WARLOCKED UPDATE 0.26


NOTE: This is an old update that I still had the version and changelog for on my computer.

This update completely overhauls a lot of the spell crafting system to hopefully make it a little more balanced -- at this point its pretty fleshed out in my eyes and will probably have mostly minor changes (maybe lol). Additionally, I've just about doubled the amount of runes that are in the game, adding dozens and dozens of new spell possibilities. Full changelog below.

Major Changes:

  • Completely reworked the spell crafting system
  • Added mana system for spell casting, with a "boosted" version of the spell using aether instead

Minor Changes:

  • Nearly doubled the amount of runes available for crafting spells, including multiple with unique properties
  • Reworked spell slots -- only two for now which correspond with RMB and LMB to cast. Swappable spells to come in the future
  • Spells now take one crystallized aether per every three runes to craft it
  • Casting cost of a spell is now based on the "level" of it (# of crystallized aether used)
  • Spells now have multiple new properties that can be changed via runes
  • Spell name generation system has been overhauled
  • Name of runes are now shown in a static position
  • Descriptions of runes are now shown

General stuff / Bug fixes:

  • Fixed some issues where some runes wouldn't glow if you hovered over them
  • Tweaked fire rune icon slightly
  • Fixed a bug where projectiles would sometimes not destroy certain props
  • Updated focus altar art
  • Added an outline and some animation to mouse cursor
  • Changed color and glow levels of particles within the tower
